Tahltan Nation Development Corporation Forest Stewardship Plan Extension #1

For operations in First Nations Woodland Licence N3E within the Skeena Stikine Natural Resource District

Northpac Forestry Group Ltd. is proposing a 5-Year extension to the existing Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) for the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) First Nations Woodland Licence (N3E) tenure in the Skeena Stikine Natural Resource District (SSNRD). Westland Resources Limited has been contracted to prepare this FSP Extension on behalf of TNDC and Northpac Forestry Group Ltd. (Northpac)

The FSP will continue to apply within a broad operating area known as a forest development unit (FDU), and there is an overlap between the N3E FDU and Tahltan Territory. The FSP extension does not involve any content amendments or changes to the current FSP, which was information shared with Tahltan First Nation between May, 2020 and April, 2021.
